Wild Forces Branding
My brainchild of four years finally became a realty in late 2020 as I was able to start a non-profit dedicated towards creating accessible outdoor education for women. Inspired by our desire to make an impact, we named our project Wild Forces and made it a mission to encourage empowerment on the trails and leadership roles for women in the outdoor industry.
The outdoor industry is saturated with redundant branding of muted earth tones, mountain images, and “ranger badge” style layouts so we wanted to stand out. We aren’t just a t-shirt brand or a guide service, we wanted to make women eager to join us as a fun, strong community while maintaining a professional presentation. Our goal was to create a logo mark that stood powerful by itself but bring in chic, feminine typography to compliment it as a full logo.
We create booklets for each subject we teach so this branding has brought the opportunity to really play in some fun layout elements to keep it consistent across all types of content.
